Daycare Tender for Day Club Services (Primarily for Older People) in:
1) The Pulborough/Chanctonbury Area
and 2) the Shoreham/Lancing Areas
West Sussex County Council is inviting tenders from community-focused providers, with good, proven records of quality service provision. The Day Club Services will be located in the Pulborough/Chanctonbury area and Shoreham/Lancing area, and are part of the Developing Day Activities project within Adults’ Services.
Day clubs will be outcome focused, operate within a framework of social inclusion and offer meaningful activities, which are accessible to people who are frail and vulnerable, as well as those who are more actively mobile. Day clubs will be based within the community and work to support and empower individuals to participate in their local community, helping to stimulate a sense of wellbeing and good quality of life. People attending the day club will benefit from social interaction and be actively involved in the way the club runs and develops as a user led service.
Total funding available for the next three years is £70k per annum over 3 years allocated as follows: £30k Pulborough/Chanctonbury Area and £40k Shoreham/Lancing. This is core funding for three years. Potential providers will need to provide an account of service costs and show how other funding streams will be accessed including income from customer charges e.g. membership fees, unit costs for special activities etc
