West Sussex Mediation Service is holding a training course for new volunteer community mediators, starting on Friday 20th January 2012 in Worthing. The training is FREE and in return the service would expect a commitment of couple of hours a week of your time to take on cases. The course is accredited by the Open College Network and involves 40 hours training (role play involved).
Dates: 20/1, 21/1, 22/1, 28/1 and 29/1.
The charity is keen to recruit to the West of the County – particularly in Chichester and Arun Districts.
Mediators, once trained work in pairs. Our core work is neighbour in dispute. The work is rewarding and very worthwhile. We have excellent client feedback and know we can change lives.
